A girl and her dog...I have so much love for my sweet little one. Winston is so kind and so sweet and so gentle. I could not ask for a more perfect little gentleman. He's such a thoughtful, loving little puppy.
This week is red, white and blue week. The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. I love the amount of patriotism and American pride that shines bright on this day in particular (although, I wish it was like this every day). We have fought hard to come to be who we are and we must continue to defend our freedoms we demanded in 1776.
Our family has an annual dinner on the grounds where we all come around the table to eat and enjoy each others' company. Winston, my sweet bulldog, particularly loves this event and the attention he receives. He loves to greet all of the attendees and play with the children. He's been walking and getting a lot of cardio training in for this event ;-) He doesn't want to miss out on a chance to give more hugs and kisses.
What are some of you favorite ways to incorporate patriotic symbols into tablescapes and decor? Comment below. Happy (early) Independence Day!

It's a bummer Kendra Scott doesn't seem to carry this "Megan Lariat Necklace" anymore...I had quite a few people ask me about it this weekend. My mom, sister and I each have one in different colors. We had fun shopping last Fall at this event together. Here is a similar necklace.
You know how you see a pair of shoes that you "HAVE" to have? Well, that was the case with these Tory Burch sneakers when they were on super-sale at Nordstrom Rack. I "needed" them for my short walks with Winston and trips to the dog park. You have to have practical but cute footwear while walking your 65-pound English Bulldog (who doesn't quite walk a mile each day), right?!? Shop similar options below.
Shop red and white striped dresses below! Believe it or not, that first one is OLD NAVY and less than $30! Y'all know about my recent obsession with Old Navy...they have majorly stepped up their game. If you prefer to cover you arms, try this one or this one.
